When me and a bridal party I’m a part of were discussing our wedding crafting get together, it made me think “craft parties need to happen more often!”. So I grabbed my sprout and several crafting items and whipped up a little invitation for you. Friends, start crafting up a party.

Sprout Tip: To reduce the amount of shadow, place your items on the top of the mat. This is as close to directly below the camera as you’ll get.

Since I already went the collage route last time, I wanted to play around with the Sprout a bit more, so I opened up the Martha Stewart Craft Studio. The program has a ton of cute graphics you can use to create cards, invitations, scrapbook pages, and other fun paper crafts.
The Martha Stewart app has 5 themes, each complete with virtual paper selections, stamps, stickers, borders and cut outs. I couldn’t resist the adorable pictures (or ‘stickers’) of macarons and other delightful little treats, so I decided to play and make a birthday party invitation.
Sadly I couldn’t get it to convert to a file large enough to give you all a printable, but I still wanted to make one and show what is possible with the program. I imagine this being a nice alternative to scrapbooking – and much greener too. And the cute little images are really great for creating paper goods such as invitations.
I mean really, don’t those ‘stickers’ just make you want to head straight down to your nearest patisserie? Who wouldn’t want to go to that birthday party.
So depending on the look and feel you’re going for, there’s two ways to create invitations on the Sprout. Personally I like the full control by using the computers own “Create” program, but you just can’t beat the cute options through the Martha Stewart app.
Now, download your invitations and start crafting!

Wow, what an amazing computer! I had not even heard of these until I saw your post. The invites you designed are super cute!
Oh it’s pretty incredible. It even includes a 3D camera!
Um this is an insanely cool computer! I’ve never heard of it before but I kinda need one. And totally agree, craft parties need to happen WAY more often!
You totally do! And yes, Craft parties should be a regular event! I know I certainly have enough crafting materials that need to be used up
It’s incredibly awesome. And I love how it looks beside my mac, like they’re siblings! (yep, that’s important to me)
I seriously can’t believe how awesome this is!
It’s fantastic. Way easier to use than a scanner too, and better quality I find
Thanks! I haven’t hosted a crafting party since getting married (but really that was just free labour). I really ought to throw some more, as should everyone!
