Do you remember this little party with the above little garland? Well this month’s printable is the template I created so you can make your own! Just because ice cream month is over doesn’t mean you can’t still have ice cream fun right? So get your printer ready and let’s make an ice cream cone garland!
Unless you want to give the little ones a colouring job, the printable will look best on kraft paper.
Also keep in mindthat because the balloons are filled with so little air they will deflate within a couple days. You can make everything else before the event, but don’t blow up and attach the balloons until the day of.
1 Print the template on kraft paper and cut out. Trace the lines with a brown marker and punch out the two little holes. Place a piece of double sided tape on the designated tape area.
2 Face down, string through all the flat cone templates.
3 Remove the tape backing, roll the cone and stick into place.
4 Blow up your balloons, but not too much! Just enough so they’ll snuggle inside the cone.
5 Place a piece of double sided tape on the inside back of the cone.
6 Remove the tape backing, place a balloon inside the cone and press it against the tape to keep it in place.
Now you can hang it up in your yard or inside your home to make your next summer party a little festive and a lotta cute!
