As you may know from DIYs like this, this and this, I’m a huge fan of reusing paper rolls for crafting purposes. So late one night in the middle of summer, an idea to use paper rolls to create a Christmas tree shaped advent calendar popped into my head. Yes friends, I think about Christmas in July.
The fun thing about this advent calendar is you can either reuse it year after year, or you can accelerate the fun by punching through the day’s tube to snatch your advent goodie.
You’ll need to start collecting your toilet paper rolls right away to gather enough! Best to ring around and ask your friends to give you theirs as well. I can’t imagine you’ll use 24 toilet paper rolls in two weeks…unless you live in a very large household.
