During the summer you’ll often find me trotting around in a flowy dress and flip flops, or wedge heels depending on how fancy I’m feeling. But regardless the footwear there is one thing you will always find in my car – a beach bag. You just never know when you’re driving along and get a craving for some hot sand and ocean breeze ya know?

Inside The Bag:

• Whether it’s a magazine or a Haruki Murakami novel, I like to keep reading material on hand for beach entertainment
• No beach bag is complete without a towel, blanket or bamboo mat
• It doesn’t have to be in your bag, but don’t forget that SPF is just as important in your makeup as it is in your sunscreen
• If the ocean on our part of the island was warm enough to swim in, I’d always have this bathing suit with me
• Lather up! Your skin needs protection
• It doesn’t take long to get dehydrated in the sun so keep a water bottle with you everywhere you go
• Flip flops are much more beach appropriate than heels
