I love finding good art, and Minted is an incredible one stop shop. It’s full of beautiful and affordable painted artwork. And photographs, and drawings, and even the ability to commission original artwork.
There’s so much incredible art on there that narrowing it down can be tough. As you may recall from my first living room post, I picked out 5 pieces – photography, paintings, and drawings. A year later I still love them all, but the painted pieces have my heart.
There’s something so sophisticated about paintings, whether they’re abstract, a detailed acrylic painting of a woman, abstract silhouette of a man, or something in between.

Two of the above will be hanging in our newly painted bedroom soon! Yeah, we’re painting this weekend. I’m not looking forward to it. But I AM looking forward to having it all done, and elevating our room with some gorgeous art. Can you guess which two we chose?

Land of Plenty | I’ve always ben a fan of Emily Jeffords work. Just look at those brush strokes!
Sweet Melancholy | It’s like soft flowing cool lava. There’s an oxymoron for you.

Mesmerize | I see soft pink peonies in a sea of green. What about you?
Mother Embrace | This probably sounds strange and you may not understand, but this painting is so beautiful my heart aches every time I look at it.

Body | He’s there but not there. What a clever silhouette.
Morning River | I love when abstract pieces take shape and form.
