Want to add a little fun and texture to a plain white gift bag? Add some pom poms! With Valentines right around the corner, use colours like pink, purple, and white to decorate your sweetheart’s gift. Who can resist a pom covered gift anyway? This DIY is super easy and fast. All you need is a gift bag, pom poms of course, and a hot glue gun. Use the hot glue to adhere the pom poms all over your gift bag and blammo! It’s instantly cute-i-fied. You can use a variety of colours or stick to just one. You could also have a random pattern as shown, or make the entire gift bag a fuzzy delight by covering every square inch in pom poms!
To add the explosion factor, give your gift bag a pom pom invasion. Top the inside of the gift bag with the usual tissue paper, but also fill the bag FULL with more pom poms. Surprise! Your sweetheart will be opening their gift with lovely pom poms spilling out from everywhere. It could be perceived as annoying for any clean up grinches out there, except for the fact that pom poms are so darn cute and easy to clean, unlike glitter or confetti.
Pom pom explosion for the win!
Friends, that’s the end of the DIY’s for pom pom week! Did you catch the others? Pop on over to see how adorable it looks to sprinkle mini pom poms on a white knit hat. And if you didn’t catch yesterday’s post, add some pom poms to the outside and inside of your balloons to make them super cute and fun!
And don’t forget to check back tomorrow for a couple exciting announcements!
