While I’m recovering from the weddding Stephanie from Pretty and Delectable will take good care of you today.
…
For today’s post, I thought I’d share with you one of my favorite recipes from Shutterbean… angel hair pasta with chile lemon and arugula! Click here for the complete recipe. The combination of arugula and lemon adds a peppery citrus finish that is really unique and addictive.
Toasted panko bread crumbs… I like them well toasted so they are extra crunchy.
High quality olive oil is key… my favorite brand is California Olive Ranch.
The finished dish is flavorful and fresh tasting!
Hi Tan! I’m not sure how the above comment got posted!?! In any case, thank you so much for the opportunity to post on your blog. And congratulations! Loved seeing the wedding photos over the weekend. ๐
Stephanie, this looks soooo good. I love pretty much all pasta. I never thought about toasting the panko crumbs before. Great tip! ๐
Amazing! We love arugula in this house and I love using toasted panko in pasta! I have a recipe on my food blog using toasted breadcrumbs, fettuccine, and roasted cauliflower and brussels sprouts…yum! Tell me, why is good olive oil so important? I always wondered that…
I love all your recipes and this one looks so tasty!
@Erica- I pretty much love all pasta too! Hope you get a chance to try out the toasted panko crumbs!
@Devon- Your pasta recipe looks delicious! My four-year-old twins actually love brussel sprouts, can you believe it?!? Good quality olive oil has a much stronger, more complex (and more delicious!) flavor than the inexpensive types. Treat yourself to a bottle… you won’t regret it!
@Maria- Thank you so much! The flavors in this recipe are really unique and delicious!
mmm, looks delicious! and it’s definitely something I haven’t tried before.
This is pretty genius – I have tons of Panko crumbs that I have to use and this would be perfect for them
Yum!! I love Stephanie and all her food photos! ๐ I can’t wait to try this sometime!
