This week’s Friday Five is pretty well the opposite of the first one from last week. We’re swapping pretty pinks and pastels for hard metal and grimy surfaces.
Yet, as hard and cold as the word industrial implies, there’s a sort of warmth to industrial design. Metals are softened when paired with rich wood and luscious textiles. I’m a huge fan of combining warm with cold, pretty with industrial. It’s fun to mix things up don’t you think?
Wishing you all a lovely weekend! It’s a long weekend for us so we’ll enjoy 3 days of hiking, relaxing and sunshine bliss!

great picks–I love everything about industrial! Our kids’ play kitchen foods are stored in a vintage metal milk crate. Its fun and colorful but with an industrial touch. Happy weekend!
