The thing about wedding blogs and magazines suggesting you do certain things is that they know what they’re talking about. If you’re like I was and are wavering on following some of their advice, think twice. We didn’t do these. We figured “that’s what invitations are for!”. We forgot people would need to know the date well in advance to book time off. Yes, horrible us. I’m now really wishing we had done them, not only because it’s smart but because more adorable stationery = more adorable wedding.
I’ve been ogling save the dates at Wedding Paper Divas. They have tons of customizable cards to suit the look you’re going for, whether it’s typography, putting your engagement photos to use, or just plain cute.
Here are my faves, and to tell you the truth they’re kinda making me want to get married again (to my husband let’s be clear!)
How is this flowchart Save the Date not adorable! Perfect for a hip wedding with fun details.
I’m still in love with our engagement photos, put yours to use and show your guests how in love you are.
Simple. Clean. Adorable. Get the message out there with the essential words and cute graphic versions of you.
