Last week I discussed what you need to know before starting your gift registry. This week I show you 10 must have items for your kitchen. Yes, each of these are also on our own list.
#1: ActiFry, deep frying without all the scariness (see how it’s covered?) and with WAY less oil. 1 tbsp! $300
#2: How Irresistibly adorable are these ceramic nesting measuring cups by Sophie Conran? $35
#3:: Le Creuset dutch oven. What registry is complete without one? $400
#4: Make your own carbonated water and soda from the water out of the tap with SodaStream at $100.
#5: A hand blender that comes in all sorts of fun colours. We registered for yellow. What colour would you go for? Cuisinart, $29
#6:: This tapa set by Royal Dalton is fun, modern, and gives a splash of colour. (There’s plates and dip trays as well!). $40.
#7:: Good morning! The perfect espresso, latte, cappuccino, steamed milk, etc etc, every morning. $200
#8:: When you make as many poached eggs as we do (see yesterday’s post) you’ll need one of these. By Lagostina, $50
#9:: Maxwell and WIlliams cute tea pots come in several colours, and for only $20.
#10:: Keep all your cutting boards in line and organized with this colour coded chopping board set at $70

I totally need that soda maker – I’m addicted to it! Definitely agree about the Dutch oven. And the other thing we’ve used every single day is a good set of knives!

Hi There! Glad to have found your through the Alt class tonight! Love the name of your blog! I was so pumped when we got the le crueset dutch oven on our registry. That and our dishware from heath ceramics – pretty much floored me when we got those.

@Stephanie: Yes knives! We haven’t registered yet because we need to chat up some chef friends to make sure we get a set that will last for life.
@Adina: So glad too! Thank you Alt classes!

I would love to have the soda maker! I’m not a fan of regular soda, but I love carbonated fruit juices like IZZEs 🙂

Nice picks! We have a Le Creuset dutch oven and it’s wonderful… great for winter stews.
