Growing up my husband had an adorable advent calendar made out of felt. Each day him or his brother would reach their little fingers into the day’s pocket and pull out an ornament to put on the calendar’s tree.
Of course my immediate thought was:
“I have to make that”I strayed a bit from the traditional red and green (like the one my husband had) to go for a soft and girly white, grey and pink. Making this advent calendar was surprisingly easy, especially since no sewing was involved. Don’t you just love hot glue?
This is definitely an advent calendar I see sticking around for a long time for our family, and it’s easy enough for you to create for your family, or even as gifts.

I liked the colors you picked-very feminine but modern. Gold and Silver theme would look pretty neat too. This looks like a project that will meet my instant gratification needs. You did a great job! It looks so pretty and I love that it’s hand made. Merry Christmas!
