After “but what about cheese!?”, the most common concern from others when I was vegan was “but what about cake and desserts!”.
I’m here to tell you that vegans can eat just as delicious desserts as non vegans (but sadly cheese is still out of the game, and there’s no substitute for real cheese).
I created this dessert long after I stopped being vegan, yet it’s one of my favourite cakes ever. I altered an incredible vegan and paleo fudge recipe from Creating Naturally. Seriously this treat is so delicious on its own, and just amazing on top of cake! Plus, you can feel a teeeeensy bit better about eating this quasi healthy treat…or so I tell myself.
