It’s time to start planning Christmas related events and activities, and one of them is the beloved Cookie Exchange.Cookie exchanges are the perfect way to get a stock of dozens of home baked cookies for holiday events.
Last year I hosted this cookie exchange party, bringing together several friends who all brought a few dozen of their favourite cookies along with the recipe. We all swapped cookies with each other, each ending up with a dozen of everyone’s cookies which we used for those upcoming holiday events (yup, many cookies are freezable).
As December and the holiday looms nearer you don’t necessarily have the time to do all that baking. That’s why hosting a cookie party in November is a great way to knock that chore off your expanding list.
Last year I gave you some insight as to what you can do to make your cookie exchange a hit, this year I’m sharing my favourite cookie recipes.
No lies, my goal is to make you drool by the end of this post.
Personally I don’t really care what kind of delicious cookie I put in my mouth, but I do have one single, very important criteria the cookie must meet:
chewability.
AKA, it must be so incredibly soft that barely any chewing is necessary.
mmmmm….

This looks like such a fun idea! I definitely have to tell my friends about it. The sea salt cookies look really delicious. My favourite cookies are vanilla crescents. I love vanilla.

Okay! I am drooling over the Sea Salt and Caramel filled Brownie Cookies and Egg Nog Cookies. I will say though, that my favourite Christmas cookie is still the simple Ginger Snap. Likewise, it must meet the chewability criteria…. 🙂
