When crib shopping, I found the stock in local shops were filled with mundane, traditional style cribs. Thank goodness for the interwebs! Except I soon realized that shopping as a Canadian was going to be difficult. They were all either:
a) well priced but only shipped within the continental US
b) far too expensive to ship to Canada
c) far too expensive over all

All the above cribs (yes, all white, can you tell I have a preference?) either ship to Canada or are available through Canadian retailers. (I just found West Coast Kids and can tell you right now I’m going to drop a lot of mula there.) But as much as I love all the cribs, we had a very limited budget. What did we get? For $249.99CAD ($310 after taxes and shipping) we ended up with this crib by Kidiway! (Don’t worry, we’ll be buying very different bedding).

I am pleasantly shocked at Toys R Us shipping. We ordered the crib last Friday, shipping only cost us $20, it was sent out on Monday, and it arrived on TUESDAY. I was not expecting that kind of service. I can’t wait to get the nursery together and assemble baby’s crib!
