If you remember from way back when, we made seed balls (or seed bombs) as our wedding favours. They’re such a great way to pack a tiny nugget of soil and clay full of seeds ready to burst out in full bloom! And with spring finally here and today being earth day (hooray!) it’s the perfect time to get your hands dirty.
All you need is soil, clay and seeds. Roll into balls, let them dry, and pop them into your garden. You could also put them in a little box and give them as a gift for your gardening friend.

What are you planting this year?

What a great idea. Where do you get red clay? This year I’ll be planting some tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, parsnip and onions. I might try potatoes again, not sure yet. I love gardening. 🙂

You can get it at craft stores but I suggest calling up local pottery places. You can usually get a large bag for about $20 that will last you several seasons.
Lovely! Have you heard of potato towers? I want to give it a try sometime to save from back-breaking digging

What a great favor for a spring get together – Im having a brunch at the end of may – I might have to whip some of these up 🙂

How perfect! Make sure to use seeds they can plant in the summer or early fall
