I have 305 food pins on my eat board and I’ve made 23. That’s an abysmal comparison. But I have to say, of that 23 nearly all of them were fantastic and have been made multiple times that it makes me think: “Why don’t I make pinned recipes more often?”
Here are some of my absolute faves:
So here’s the thing.
I moan and groan each week that “I don’t know what to make”, while I literally have 100’s of hand selected recipes at my finger tips.
So I’ve decided to put myself to the challenge I call Pin Make Eat.
Once a week, instead of defaulting to my usual rice and beans or quinoa and kale, I’m going to try a recipe from my pinterest eat board. Then once a month I’ll post a “Pinned It Made It Ate It” on the blog to show you the recipes I tried out. I’ll also post tweets and instagrams while cooking using the hashtag #pinmakeeat.
So follow along on the cooking fun! And hey, if you’ve pinned something and are going to make it, feel free to use the hashtag as well! I’d love to see what you’re cooking up.

Yes! I just decided to start posting the new recipes that I try (and like) to my Facebook wall, so I’ll be joining in with you on this adventure. My current favorite is the Spicy Thai Coconut Chicken Soup that I pinned last week. So good! I’m noting yours and adding them to my library.
Oh my goodness I just had to pin that RIGHT NOW. I must admitI’m not the best at making soup, but I definitely want to give this one a shot.
Ehehe, I do the same thing. So many recipes pinned and I spend most of my time complaining that I don’t know what to cook. Thanks for sharing those recipes. I didn’t have most of them, I’ll definitely try some. 🙂
