I’m teaching DIY wedding workshops at The Makehouse! How fun is that?
If you’re in the Victoria area and are getting married or know someone who is, or even if you’re just planning a big party, this could be perfect.
Each workshop is divided into 4 key elements of a big event. They are a chance to play with materials and learn some crafts to make your event perfectly you.
Creating a cohesive and personalized look throughout all your wedding stationery. We’ll carve a stamp to use on your stationery (and more), play with invitation samples to figure out how you want to assemble all that lovely paper, and lastly create a guestbook that can be customized and styled just like your invitations.
We will create decor samples galore using fabrics, paper and more. You will leave with an armful of bunting, various garlands, poms, and a headful of knowledge on how to make more.
You’ll leave this workshop with another armful of goodies! Dessert and cake toppers, drink stirrers, flags and more.
We’ll create mini photobooth backdrops so you will know how to make a larger version for your event, along with props to bring a little more character and a lot more fun into your photobooth pictures.
These are just samples of some of the things we will make. I’m so excited for all this creating in June!
I advise you come to class with a mood board or at least an idea of your ideal overall look. This will help you decide how you want to carve your stamp or what photo booth backdrop to make.
All materials are included but we may not have your exact wedding colours. These workshops are intended to make samples so you can make more with your own fabrics and papers.

Love this gorgeous DIY wedding favors and details. I like the elegant invitation which is having a deer and leave theme based design which is putting a lavish impression. Thanks for sharing.
