Last year I did the post Tackling the Gift Registry where I explained how much one should register and some kitchen registry items. This has been a really handy post for future brides that I thought I would update it with this bit of info, also taken from The Bay‘s Gift Registry Catalogue (they have a new iPad app now which is awesome ps).
Above are some items you might not think to register for but are oh so needed.

And yes, it’s totally okay to register for those big pricey items. People like getting together to buy a big and useful gift. So go ahead and scan in that 42″ tv on your registry friend.

I totally agree about registering for more expensive gifts. I had a hard time registering for anything pricey and in the end I think it made it harder for people. I know I also really hate having to buy random dish towels, bar items, books, etc to make it a decent price. I would prefer to buy one item to send.

I think it’s a great idea to register for items at a variety of price points, low and high. It’s fun to give/receive something fancier as a group gift!

For sure! It’s all about balance right girls? Isn’t that a life lesson…
