Happy Wednesday!
Today I’m over at Occupy The Wardrobe sharing a couple of my favourite warm coloured outfits. Won’t you have a look?
Now I realize I’ve been talking about Weddings for several months without even posting a single wedding dress. I did make a cute little comic to showcase my personal horrors of wedding dress shopping, but that’s it.
Well, for all of you patient brides, now’s the day.
I won’t be showing my own gown on here (you and mister Ryan will have to wait until the wedding for that) but here are some others that, while not as beautiful as my own of course, are simply stunning. They’ll make you wish wedding dresses were appropriate daily wear (hell I wish that now).
One Wed: Cute tea length tulle dresses. Perfect for a casual backyard wedding.
Marchesa: This Grecian style wedding dress truly makes you look (and feel) like Athena, or Aphrodite, or *insert grecian goddess here*.
Elie by Elie Saab: A (somewhat) muted version of a princess dress complete with lace, tulle and a big full skirt.
Vera Wang: Lace. An elegance that hearkens back to an older era that will continue to look refined throughout the years.
Unknown: I have searched all over the web for the original source of this dress. I almost didn’t include it because of this, but this is my FAVOURITE dress (aside from my own). It’s just so simple yet elegant, glamorous and decadent, just simply said, breathtakingly beautiful. If you know the original source of this dress please contact me. I’d love to give proper credit.
You may have noticed all dresses posted are either tulle, chiffon or lace.
When it comes to wedding dresses those are my materials of preference. They all lend an ethereal air to a wedding dress, truly setting it apart from any other garment.
Which dress is your favourite?
Don’t forget to check out my guest post at Occupy The Wardrobe!

I think I (like you) love the last one the best, the draping on the back is just beautiful. Le sigh

Lovin’ those tea length dresses – so gorgeous! And I love the contrast of the red lipstick with the ivory – such a classic look 🙂

Nothing will ever stop me from instantly melting, or succumbing rather, to the inner girly princess more so than the sight of fluffy wedding dresses. Love!

These dresses are gorgeous! I was just looking at wedding videos prior to this and now it’s got me wanting to get married :S
I love the dress with the bow around the waist, it’s very pixie-like
