Brides, grooms, friends, let’s talk wedding favours.
Your beloved guests have come from near and far to spend this very special day with you. Sure, you’re throwing this wicked awesome party they have the privilege to attend (yes being invited to weddings is a privilege not a right), but to make each guest feel a little extra special, a fun favour is in order.
I’m not talking scotch mints stuffed in a little organza bag, or a couple chocolates in a box engraved with your initials. Sure people love edibles, but your wedding favours should reflect who you are as a couple. While our wedding favours certainly aren’t edible, in one word, they are us:
We’re avid gardeners and one day farmers
Cute hey? Why yes I am bragging about my own idea because I love it. Is that so wrong?
Here’s a roundup of adorable wedding favour ideas from the beloved Pinterest, complete with a some free printables so you can create the look yourself!
Martha Stewart: Tea and biscuits. Not only clever, but also smartly wrapped.
Green Wedding Shoes: Delicious macarons (edibles are still okay so long as they’re adorable) in simple and sweet packaging (DIY and printables in the link).
Oh Weddings: Double up your escort cards and favours with these irresistible succulents.
The Knot: Ideal for a smaller or big budget wedding (due to cost) but how sweet would it be to receive a book as a wedding favour? Especially if you’re bookworms. Want to copy the look? Download this free library card printable from lovevsdesign.com
Ritzy Bee: Every time your guests spread their delicious wedding favour jam on their morning toast they’ll think of you. Make it even more personal by giving homemade jam.
What were your wedding favours/what would you like them to be?

these are all absolutely adorable. especially the first one! but i might be biased because my name is tanya 😉
our wedding favors were character drawings. we had a caricaturist who was a HUGE success. the line was massive and he was hilarious! i’ve already seen a lot of people’s drawings hanging up in their homes. unique, fun, and something people didn’t just eat or throw away. perfect!

Oh, I love your favors so much!!! So sweet 🙂 Music is a big deal for us, so we will be putting ‘the soundtrack of our wedding’ together and we will wrap it up in some sweet packaging! XO brynn

Love your favours Tanya- so personal & adorable! Our wedding favours had a uniquely “us” twist as well. We are huge Canucks fans, and our wedding was a week after the heartbreak of the game 7 stanley cup final. On the back of each guest’s chair was a white towel (with purple letters saying Brooke & Devon- June 18, 2011). When the wedding party entered the reception hall, the entire crowd was waving the white towels to the Canucks opening anthem (U2- where the streets have no name). It was pretty magical. And the towels were a fun keepsake & memory.

Cute!!! Me and the fiancé are doing stamped muslim bags too! I think it’s a great idea if. I. do. say. so. myself. 🙂 But we’re putting coffee beans in ours because we are HUGE coffee drinkers and we live in Seattle! For non-coffee drinkers {what? those exist?} they can use it as a potpourri. Coffee beans give off a great aroma!
Happy planning!
