If you already know of this site, good on ya. If not, head over immediately. This site is especially amazing if you’re planning an event or gathering images for inspiration on an art/craft/design/etc project.

What it’s all about
This site allows you to ‘pin’ any images from your computer or the internet onto a ‘board’, basically one page so all the images are together. You are able to make comments about the picture, and organize them onto different boards according to your theme. For example, I have one board for wedding decor, another for dresses, then others for crafting and baking. This way you can categorize your images. This site also acts a bit like a community, where you can like, comment and ‘repin’ other peoples’ images. You can also follow other peoples’ boards (like twitter) and see what sort of images they’re posting.

Why it’s mega amazing
Incredibly handy if you’re the type of person to gather a bunch of images for planning purposes, whether it be for an event or an art project. Rather than bookmarking several individual links to the images, you can have them all shown neatly in one place.

The one drawback
You need to use your facebook or twitter account to sign up, which I disagree with due to the increasing lack privacy laws. I used my twitter account which has less personal information. If you want to join but are concerned about this like I was, I suggest creating a twitter account and not include any information you don’t want shared.

This website has saved me a lot of time and has really helped me see my ‘vision’ all in one place opposed to in various folders on my desktop. I honestly can’t get enough of it.
