And I must say, they looked good doing it. Don’t you want to wear one of those hats?
Taking old fashion and making it now, why not celebrate all that hard work women did for us 100 years ago by dressing the part? Just give it a little twist (exposed toes, how daring!) and tucking in a blouse into a high waisted, floor length skirt never looked so modern.
It’s clear by this outfit that I enjoy variations of this 100 year old style.

Whoa, love the Acne skirt, but that’s to be expected since I obsess over any and everything Acne! Amazing line. Don’t laugh, but my favorite trends are from the 80’s. Still love Stephen Sprouse and leather and black with neon. I’ve strayed away from it, but I’m def getting back to my roots this season!

I love the fact that people are getting back into DIY and crafting again! 🙂 The whole store-bought, factory-made thing gets so boring after awhile….it’s so much fun to learn how to do things yourself (even simple things like baking and sewing). To learn how to think creatively/for yourself again…. 🙂

Isn’t it great? I think the economic downturn probably had a lot to do with that. I’m not saying it was a good thing, but I too am happy people are belching more resourceful
