Have a peek at our master bedroom in its current state. Most of it is purchased. Our furniture was a wedding gift from my parents when we moved into the house, our bedding and curtains were bridal shower gifts, and we just purchased the above Ranarp lamps from IKEA which will replace the mismatched lamps currently on the bedside tables. But what our bedroom is currently lacking to astronomical lengths is character. We need art work, we need accessories, we desperately need a paint job. The above items are what will take our master bedroom from a place I only go into out of necessity to sleep and dress, to a space I’ll want to spend time in.
I can’t wait to share the transformation with you.
White, light grey, dark grey, or other?

Oh, I love that these are all so light and bright! We’re about to dive into redecorating our master bedroom too. What’s difficult for me is working with our very dark furniture – all that West Elm-y rich espresso can be overwhelming. Seeing your picks reminded me that light accessories are going to be key in lifting the space up! (And my vote is for white paint. I love that it’s so fresh, and that when we change our minds we won’t have to prime.)

Yes! I have a hard time with the dark furniture as well, which is why I’m thinking light accessories.
Hah, painting a room white is definitely great for the no-priming factor!
