I know I know, it’s been quiet around here. Reeeeaaaaaal quiet. But I promise there is a very good reason! Mesa Rentals + Design.
If you’re a fellow instagrammer, you’ll know what this post is all about. If not you’re probably sitting there asking yourself “What the heck are you on about Tan?”. Well, I’m going on about the reason it’s been so darn quiet around here with our new venture (and raising a toddler and now near 4 month old while getting said new venture off the ground).

So the mister and I bought a business. Yup! It’s true!
Here’s the thing, I’ve ALWAYS loved events. Some of my favourite memories are helping friends with their weddings or putting on elaborate backyard bashes. I was repeatedly told I should be a wedding planner, but I knew that wasn’t for me. But I knew I needed to do something with events. Last fall we learned one of our favourite event rental companies were selling their business. After months of checking their stock, examining the market, having a baby and checking our sanity was still intact, we decided to take the plunge.

Welcome Mesa Rentals + Design

We are focussing on tabletop designs only, because sourcing for and designing place settings is my FAVE.
We are still in super early stages, sorting through our MASSIVE amount of stock and deciding what goes, what stays, and what other items we want to bring in. But we are SO excited to get started!

Our website is still in the works, but for now you can follow along on our adventures via instagram!

Some of you might be thinking “What does this mean for Squirrelly Minds?”.
Let me be the first to say I’m not going anywhere. Will it be quieter around here? You bet. But I’ll still be fairly active on instagram, and posting projects on here whenever inspiration (and time) strikes!
