Rug from Lulu & Georgia / Crib from Toys R Us / Sheepskin from IKEA / Dresser inspiration from Chairish / White and Gold herringbone crib sheet from Lilly Brooke / Changing pad inspiration from Project Nursery / Cloud Mobile from The Butter Flying / Pouf inspiration from Marrakesh Style / “Nightwalk” print from Amelia Presents
Above is some inspiration for the room. We already have many big items, including the crib and our incredible dresser. It actually looks like a piece of trash right now. My parents’ tenants left it behind in horrible condition, but as soon as I saw it sitting in my parents’ garage, all pathetic and desperate for a new lease on life, I knew exactly how to take advantage of it’s clean mid century mod lines – white base, mint drawers, gold hardware. It’ll look so good!
We’ll also use our mustard and gold pouf from our Moroccan honeymoon, paired with our overstuffed pink wingback chair. If I find another in a different colour I’ll change it, but this chair is just so comfy. Maybe I’ll just reupholster.
One feature I’m very excited about (the mister not so much…it’s a lot of work) is the herringbone wall. The lines will be white and most of the arrows will be grey, but with mint and gold accents throughout. Yes I might be crazy.
I can’t wait to get this nursery together. I love house projects!
