Remembrance Day is this Monday (Veterans day for all American friends) and it’s always such a sad and beautiful time. Yes, beautiful. I find it so honourable that people fought, and still fight, to protect the people and land they love, and I am so honoured to be free because of them. As my family is from Portugal, a neutral country, I have no connection to the world wars at all. But for whatever reason I nearly always tear up when I hear those bagpipes.
To those who gave up their freedom to give us ours, a humble thank you.
To celebrate this occasion, I’ve selected 5 crafts, how to’s, recipes and printables, because remembrance day deserves to be hand crafted.
And lastly, speaking of handcrafted, check out this holiday wreath roundup from Wayfair. Can you find the one I made?
Have a lovely weekend everyone. See you Tuesday.

And pssst, if you’re in the Victoria area, don’t forget to enter the Out of Hand Giveaway!
