Once we tackle the basement (and oh man have our plans changed BIG time) the dining room will next. It’s in a pretty good state as it is, aside from the hideous wood panelling (painting it white) and the grandma floral teapot wallpaper (goodbye!). We just finished our first project: refinishing the dining room table (see pic here). I already love the room with the table surrounded by white sheepskins draped over 4 eames eiffle chairs. I can’t wait to add a banquette and make it look a little like one of the rooms above.
We never ate at our dining room table before because it was such an unusable and unwelcoming space with clutter surrounding it and no natural light. Seeing as this dining room is flanked by two huge windows, and we have enough storage to store all our belongings now, I imagine us eating many meals in this soon-to-be wonderful room.

We eat our meals at the kitchen island. ๐ We have a gorgeous reclaimed wood dining table but it’s honestly more of a showpiece… we do use it one a year for our annual Thanksgiving party though! ๐
