As you now know, we bought a house!
One of the most exciting things about the process is imagining what the house will look like once we make the 1946 bungalow our home. So every Wednesday for the next while will be The Bungalow Inspiration Files, taking you through a room each week and what we envision for the space.

Our whole neighbourhood is full of similar homes built for soldiers returning home from the war. As a nod to its era (and because it’s our favourite design), we want to give the whole home a mid century mod feel, but particularly showcase this in the living room.

With clean lines, warm tones and rich teak furniture, it’s hard to go wrong with mid century mod, don’t you think?
