LIghtweight Water Tank: Ya gotta keep hydrated friends
Beef Jerky: For that post hike energy boost
Axe: A a campfire necessity
Tableware: Just cause you’re camping doesn’t mean you can’t eat off nice plates
Coffee Percolator: Because you’re 5x more likely to wake up grouchy and needing a caffeine boost after sleeping on that uncomfortably thin mat
First Aid Kit: Lots of ouchies are bound to happen
Flashlight: For when you have to pee at night
Biodegradable soap: Be nice to the earth and stay clean
I spent this past weekend camping on the edge of the world (or the edge of the west coast anyway) to celebrate my bff’s 30th birthday.
It was an incredible time with amazing friends. I explored, bathed in the sun, and (of course) ate too many smores. (Insider tip: swap the plain chocolate for PB cups. SO GOOD).
We’re going camping again in a few weeks and this camping trip felt like a bit of a test run.
The essentials we didn’t have that we surely need for next time?
A coffee percolator and dishes. And I wouldn’t mind swapping my gigantor yellow flashlight for that adorable wooden one.
Come back tomorrow for a few camping pictures and a little DIY to spruce up your camp site!

We went tent camping a couple of weeks ago with the girls and had a great time! My favorite thing about camping is eating smores. My husband brought headlamps and they were a great supplement to our regular flashlights. The coffee percolator is so cute!

Ahhh yes! So many of my friends had one and they’re way easier (and better!) than a handheld flashlight. I think I must get some before our next trip
