Doesn’t that cake up there look yummy? There’s a little ingredient that makes it even yummier – champagne.

In the meantime, aren’t those little glittery heart cake toppers adorable? Yup they sure are, and they’re super easy.
Let’s make some shall we?
If you don’t have glitter paper you can always use cardstock and use white glue to adhere glitter to it. Make sure glitter is spread evenly and you allow time for it to dry.
Instead of a glue gun you can use strong double sided tape.1 Punch out hearts an even number of heartswith your heart puncher. If you don’t have one, draw hearts on the backside and cut out with smaller scissors. You will need 2 hearts for each cake topper.
2 Place a flat toothpick on the centre of the non glittery side of the heart. Squeeze a lentil sized glue dollop on top.
3 Grab another heart and, non glitter side down, place it directly on top of the heart with glue on it. Make sure all edges line up before squeezing the heart down and gluing it together.
4 Repeat and stick in your cake to make it super pretty and cute!
This is a super easy, 2 minute DIY. It’s nothing innovating, but it definitely makes your cake look extra sweet.
You can also do shapes like circle, diamonds, octagons and use all sorts of paper.
Have fun with it! And don’t forget to check Best Friends For Frosting for the delicious Pink Champagne Cake recipe on Sunday.
