Seeing as I’m no longer planning a wedding and immersed in all-things-wedding all day every day, I won’t be writing wedding posts every Wednesday. I still love weddings and will post about them from time to time, but otherwise Wednesday is going to be like any other day around here.
Laundry rooms are often forgotten. Guests never go in there (unless heaven forbid there’s a red-wine/white-shirt incident) and you only go in there for possibly the most dreaded, never ending chore. Wouldn’t it be nice to do those chores in a beautiful space?
My current laundry room is just a nook in our bathroom covered by a curtain. I know that if I had the space, I would want my laundry room to have all the items up above. And I’d certainly want that washer and dryer set…
I avoid ironing clothes at all lengths. I find the task tedious and incredibly annoying with my half sized ironing board.
Which laundry chore to you dread the most?

That chevron Anthro basket is so cute! I’m not a fan of ironing either. 😛 Laundry is a never ending process with kids… it’s like the indoor equivalent of weeds!

Oh, I hate ironing too! I’d love to have a steamer, but those things take up so much room. And I’m in love with that hamper, by the way. We have a bamboo one that lost its lid awhile ago and I’ve been aching to replace it.
And if it makes you feel any better, our laundry area is a “closet” in our bathroom too! Also, since it’s a stackable, we can only do so much laundry at once. Which means five loads of laundry a week or something crazy like that.

oh my, this would be ideal! I can never get it to look so organized, though!

Hi. Just wondering what the silver thing attached to the wall on the right is?

It looks like a drying rack. I think it flips out and then you would put hangers through those holes to hang your clothes. Quite smart really!
