I regret to interrupt your regular programming (April’s Pinterest Via will be on Thursday) to bring you something a little more fun and a lot more informational – lessons learned from my time at Bloghshop Vancouver!
Time is always worth more than money, and Blogshop gave me the skills to bring back time that would have otherwise been wasted, and no one has enough time in their life for it to go to waste.
The entire two days was full of “aha!” moments and “OH MY GOD THAT’S SO MUCH EASIER”.
While I knew a lot of what we learned I didn’t know how to do it the easy and proper way. Until Blogshop I wasted hours struggling with photoshop to make things look just how I wanted. Bri of Design Love Fest and Angela of Angela and Ithyle taught us how to do the same things in mere minutes.

You can’t put a price tag on your time. Every second is so precious and should be spent wisely. This knowledge Bri and Angela gave me has brought back hours of my life I otherwise would have spent in front of the computer, fighting with a program I know but don’t fully understand.
I understand photoshop now. I know how to efficiently do what I need to, and now I can trade those past hours of frustrations, screaming at the computer (oh there were many nights like that) for valuable time with my husband, family, and friends, the people that count in my life.
Thank you Bri and Angela of Bloghshopfor such a fun and fulfilling workshop, and making photoshop a cinch!
Now I just need Blogshop for Video to come to Vancouver…
I’m so glad you had a chance to go to this! It sounds as amazing as I thought it would be. I’d love to go to the video class – fingers crossed that it comes this way too. Also, I love that last photo of you with the ladies. Perfection!
This looked so cool! I’m afraid I don’t know much about it but after your pics and post, I’m off to investigate.
Now I’m kicking myself for not going! At least I got to meet you at breakfast.
I have my eye on the video one too. JUST about zoomed down for the Thursday one in SF but the flights were all cRaZy to get there on short notice, even from two hours away.

I was happy to be a part of this as All & Sundry but now I wish I had attended! Hmm, hmm, maybe that video class. 🙂
I’m so happy I got to intern at Blogshop Vancouver. Made me realize how much I love teaching! I loved helping all you lovely ladies out and seeing the amazing colourful things you created. And I kind of fell in Photoshop all over again myself, being reminded of little tips and trick I myself had forgotten.

I would love to take this class, but price is somewhat of an obstacle. I know it’s completely worth but I have to save up first!
