*sigh*
Yes, I am back. Back home to our lovely 1911 character home, our cuddly kitty and home cooked meals. And back to Squirrelly Minds.

Looking back, the weeks leading up to the wedding and especially the day itself was a whirlwind of food, family, friends, decorating, exhaustion and elation. Pretty well the same can be said of the honeymoon, only swap out the family and friends with new friends and experiences, the decorating with shopping, and add in a touch of wonderment and travelers ailments.

The last month has been the absolute best of my life.
The incredible thing about weddings is watching how everyone comes together to help make the day perfect. This was certainly the case with ours, and I am so grateful to our families and friends for all the work they did. It’s a beautiful thing how weddings bring people together in a way every day life can’t. And while I secretly long to remain in the prepping stages just to spend that time with all our loved ones and relish in those exciting (and stressful I can’t lie) moments before the big day, I’m also happy to be home, back to regular life and starting my life as a wife.
