Friends, I am posting from the past (post dated post) because right now, as you are reading this, I, along with my husband, are on our way to MOROCCO!
I can’t believe our trek to Morocco is here! I was so busy wedding planning (which by the way, was absolutely INCREDIBLE, more on that when I get back) that I didn’t have time to research the country, learn the language and figure out what I wanted to do beforehand. I am the least prepared for this trip than I have been for any other, yet I’m OH SO EXCITED!!!!!

One of the things I’m most excited about are getting lost in the medinas and rug and spice shopping in the souks! I’m absolutely transfixed by the below image of the spices piled up high, just like they were when I shopped the markets of Istanbul. The rich colours are so deep and full and inspire me to wear bright bold colours. I’ll have to stay covered up due to the modestly of the country, but the clothing will have to be loose and airy. I am going in the low season after all, which means extremely extremely hot weather.
