No lies, I like to wear men’s clothes at times.
I have a cardi I wear from my dad’s youthful days in the 70’s, I wear baggy men’s sweatpants to dance constantly (then again I am a hip hop dancer) and I fashion up the classic white men’s button up shirt. This one is my favourite.
It’s so easy to take this classic men’s shirt and make it feminine. Cinch it up, pair it with a long skirt and bam, you have an outfit that resembles that of a British lady lounging in colonized Australia (Think Nicole Kidman in Australia. Yes. Exactly.)
Here’s me being very victorian British, tending (and munching!) on my garden in my feminine outfit:
Key notes to making your men’s shirt feminine
– Do not button it all the way. In fact, pin down the edges of the collar so it stays open
– Tuck it in with a high waisted skirt or even shorts
– Cinch your waist in with a belt
– Roll up the sleeves. This makes it more summery anyway
I’ve had most of these items for quite some time and so they are no longer available. But here’s how you can get a similar look for under $100:
Are there any men’s clothing items you like to feminize up?

That’s such a lovely look on you, particularly the hair and the bangles. Spot on!

Thanks so much! I was actually really annoyed with my hair cause I tried to curl/wave it but it ended up frizzy instead ;P
