If you’re on my Instagram, you may remember this:
What are they you ask? What is going on?
Today, I’m finally letting you see our invitations.
The invitation process was both exciting and arduous, and quite possibly our favourite part.
We spent hours finding the perfect floral vectors, choosing the exact colours, picking the fonts that reflect our style and the wedding. Choosing the size, the wording, the orientation, how we wanted the flowers coloured. Then it was choosing the paper and the envelopes to go with it. Then it was clipping edges, stamping RSVP’s with our buck and doe stamp, punching out tags, cutting strips, assembling the invitations, tieing the invitations together
….are you bored yet?
All of that planning, designing and cramped crafting fingers was well worth the result. We couldn’t be happier with our invitations. The fact that we were a part of every decision and design element from the beginning makes them all the more meaningful because they are, 100%, ours.
For you colour and type nerds:
I have tons of invitations left over, which I love. I certainly plan to frame them, something I said was too tacky and I would never do. But when you love them so much how can you not?
Is there anything you have created, from concept to final product, that you are particularly proud of?

Where did you find the card stock you ended up choosing? Thanks!

Hey Kacy. I’m afraid it was from a local printer so I don’t know where you could find it online ๐ Good luck on your search!
