As you may well know, I love chalkboards in the home. They’re such a great way to relay information. You know where else they work beautifully? Parties.

I wanted to use chalkboard signs for our wedding (a wink to my teaching profession) and was so happy when I found GFout on Etsy.
They’re such a great way to label things and is so much prettier than just printing off a sign. With the hand writing effect, it adds that personal touch to your photo booth station, escort cards or labels in either a sign or a tag.

Originally I was going to make chalkboard signs myself. I’d buy wood, cut it up with my dad’s table saw, prime it, paint it, assemble the stand. But when I found GFout and saw his great collection varyious sized chalkboard signs at such an affordable cost, it was worth buying over making. I purchased over 20 signs and saved myself not only my time and sanity, but even cost. No doubt I would have made mistakes and had to buy more materials than needed!

When they arrived I simply had to test them out. Don’t they look lovely at our mother’s day brunch?

I know I will use my chalkboard signs repeatedly over the years. I do like to throw a good party.
