I may be a bride to be, but I still get to attend a wedding this summer apart from my own (woohoo!).
If you’re anything like me when going to a wedding you frantically try to figure out what to wear. You don’t want to be too dressy yet heaven help you if you show up in jeans while everyone else is in a suit. (Note: don’t ever ever go to a wedding dressed in jeans, no matter how ‘fancy’ they are).
Here’s a little summer wedding outfit for you. I may not let you wear jeans, but I will break the biggest rule of all and let you wear a little white 😉
Ruche ‘Sweet Mint Pleated Dress’ $39.99 / Anthropologie ‘On Board Blazer’ $148 / Manolo Blahnik ‘Sorrita Strappy Cork Sandal’ $525 / BCBGMaxazria ‘Snake Embossed Envelope Clutch’ $68 / Etsy Blue Locket on Geometric necklace $32 / Need Supply Co. Drop Earrings $18

Aren’t they perfection? And so cheap! Well…compared to the usual Manolo prices ;P

Love the color and pleating on that dress! It’s always fun/interesting to see what other people wear to weddings… jeans are a definite no no!

It really is. My family and the Portuguese community always dress up quite formally to weddings. I was a tad horrified the first time I saw someone in khakis and a button down shirt at a wedding. Yet on the other extreme my sister’s boyfriend, who is British, was horrified that he should wear a sports jacket (suit as we call it) and not a morning coat (those long black penguin tailed jackets)
