I realize the lighting in this photo makes me look slightly diabolical. ….don’t make me angry
Yup! I’m so excited today for two main reasons.
1) Did you see my post on Monday about Green Cleaning? Well I’m back over at Wayfair sharing more green products at Look What I Found. Check out some other ways you can stock your cupboard with green cleaning essentials.
2) Along with my husband, another video is done with an awesome DIY to go along with it!
Last month my partner teacher show our students how to weave. It was such an awesome activity that I just HAD to do a DIY on it and, of course, a video.
Watch the video below, then head over to The Lovely Cupboard for the full DIY.
And to top off your Thursday, here are some links to get you ready for St.Patrick’s day!
Rainbow Fascinator from Studio DIY
St Patrick’s Scavenger Hunt from MPMK
Double Fudge Irish Cream Cookies from How Sweet It Is
Non treat St Patricks gift from Love Sugar Kisses
St Patrick’s Day Mason Jars from Yesterday on Tuesday
Weaving is such an ancient craft that, while less so, still exists today
Be it weaving, metalwork or knitting, is there an ancient craft you’re interested in?

Tan! I loved watching the video… such a creative way to share a DIY and those coasters are really cute. Enjoyed your green products post too… I’m also a big fan of Mrs. Meyers products!

I remember weaving like that when I was in elementary school! It’s funny how we sometimes forget how to do really useful and fun projects we learned as kids. I think I may just go make some coasters now…

Cool DIY video- keep ’em coming! 🙂
Old craft that I enjoy, ’cause it’s simple, relaxing, and inexpensive: wood burning! :). You can get a woodburning pen for about $30 and use it to burn details on simple wooden toys, driftwood, etc. There are a few things I’ve made since getting a pen through Lee Valley (I could send you some photos, if you like!).

@Stephanie: Thanks! It was fun to shoot.
@Mandy: I know what you mean. I just remembered the other day we did batiking in grade 5. I had a brave teacher
@Stacey: I would LOVE to see some photos!
Stacey says
I left some woodburning photos for you on my Instagram…. 🙂
