Yup. I’m saying exactly that. Horrifying I know.
In truth, I absolutely love sugar and all things sugary. My sweet tooth doesn’t allow me to feel any other way, so I have to trust my will power to act sensibly. And I do this by taking out sugar where it is not necessarily needed.
Fruit is full of natural sugars, so why ruin a good, natural thing? True, sugar is essential to the jamming process and it’s not as lick your fingers sweet as other jams, but to me it’s perfect.
Please note, I’m one of those super annoying cooks who doesn’t write down what she’s doing and just does what feels right. I forgot to properly write this one down for you guys so the recipe is a bit of an estimate :/
